Ukulele Day 16 Pearl Inlay

Here is our pink abalone. We use bench grinder to wipe out the external shell.

This piece is nice. It shows some layer, looks 3D.

Then, we paste our butterfly print and saw it out with coping saw.
Note that our small coping saw blade is normally used with gold decoration work.

We've tried to make a small outline within the wings, but the pearl is cracked.
Thus, we only go with this final inlay.

Compared with other ukulele's peg head.

Next step, we prepare our 4 binding with drum sander. They are 2 mm thickness or less.
